Our plastic surgery in the WABI
Beauty Centre was opened in July 2005. On the
second floor you will find our plastic surgery
equipped with the most modern technology.
Our plastic surgeons are highly-qualified
and they dispose over decades of experience. They
can speak German or English and they only work
with the newest surgical technique and materials.
In our clinic there are septic
and aseptic operating theatres, which are equipped
with special filters (nickel climate) and they
secure the germ-free and antibacterial environment.
After operations done in general
anaesthesia the patients will be brought into
the post-operative supervision room professionally
equipped, where medical specialists and medical
assistants observe the vital parameters of the
patients (ECG, RR, P, etc.).
If the patients are allowed to
leave the post-operative supervision room, they
can relax in their hotel rooms on the third floor
of the building, where they are further looked
after by medical assistants during their recovery.
For the cleaning of the medical
instruments we use washing plants, for the sterilization
hot-air and an autoclave (Statim 5000S), which
can be found in the sterilization room of the
operation theatre.
Three different laser instruments
belong to our department yet. We make the surgical
removal of mother moles and skin warts ambulant
in local anaesthesia with a carbon dioxide laser.
For the treatment of capillaries
and pigment marks we use a laser diode with the
wave-length of 532 nanometres DPSS and 940 nanometres.
To achieve a successful result several treatments
are necessary.
We offer also the possibility
of permanent hair removal, this requires also
several treatments. This is accomplished with
the ARION Alexandrite laser instrument and it
has a wave-length of 755 nanometres.
The treatments and the operation
consultations must be agreed upon before and we
pay attention to the fact that you don’t have
to wait very long.
